The Henderson ISD Child Nutrition Department adheres to all national and state regulations/policies regarding reimbursable meals and the sale or distribution of food items in Texas Public Schools. All other food sales/distribution in which food is made available to students on the school campuses adhere to the Smart Snacks in Schools Nutrition Guidelines. Food/food types are restricted by time/place and the portion sizes and nutritional requirements are followed as prescribed by this policy. For more information, go to:
