This afternoon, the Henderson High School library was the setting for a special graduation ceremony celebrating Elvia “Camila” Canenguez.
Surrounded by classmates, family, and staff, Camila received her diploma from Principal Shannon Dickerson in recognition of her hard work and determination. It was a proud and meaningful moment shared by those who have supported her throughout her educational journey.
HHS teacher Ms. Stoute spoke during the ceremony, thanking Camila’s family for their years of dedication and encouragement, and reflecting on the progress Camila has made. Her words highlighted the strength of the partnership between school and family.
Following the presentation, guests enjoyed cake and punch as they gathered to celebrate Camila’s accomplishment and wish her well. Camila’s journey is a reminder of the power of persistence, support, and community.
