The HHS Lionette Drill Team will present their annual Spring Show on April 30, 2022. The Lionette Booster Club is selling ads to be placed in the Spring Show program. It is with the support of businesses, & individuals, such as you, that will make this a successful fundraiser.
The Henderson High School Cross-Examination team of Arianna Ayala & Ben Houston represented Henderson at the State Competition. Overall, they went 3-1 on day one and missed advancing by 0.3 speaker points.

Way to go! The Girls Powerlifting team had a top 10 finish in their first trip to state while the boys team placed 3rd overall in the regionals. Several boys placed in their weight division and Eujayvion McAlister, Devin Fields, Yacorus Porter, & Kaleb Tate qualified for state.
While rain is causing some flooding and power outages in portions of Rusk County, all HISD campuses are open. We know some staff and students live in or must drive through the areas impacted by last night’s storms and encourage all to be cautious when traveling this morning.
HISD is closely monitoring the developing weather across our area. We currently do not anticipate any major impact for our schools. Should the situation change, we will notify parents and staff. Please stay safe this evening.

Lindale Hideaway Golf Course Tournament Results
The Lady Lions placed 3rd overall at the Lindale Hideaway Golf Course Tournament Monday, March 7th 2022. Captain Ava Turlington lead in teams scores with rising freshman Kinsey Kersh shooting her 2nd best score of the year. Emery Chenault was able to overcome some early struggles, faced adversity and got after it to help the overall team score. The Girls Golf Team have now placed in two tournaments this year, 1st and 3rd; with 1 more Tournament left in the season the Lady Lions look towards the Van Zandt Tournament before District play begins.
