Henderson ISD is aware of a situation that occurred in a local store this morning involving HISD teachers and a HISD student. The teachers involved followed all protocols and appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of the student and everyone else present. The family has been informed of the details and the student is safe. We appreciate our teachers and staff who, even in challenging situations, are fully committed to serving our students.
