NEW COVID TESTING PROGRAM
Dear HISD Parents/Guardians,
The Texas Department of Emergency Management has discontinued their COVID testing program and HISD has chosen another vendor. HISD will start using GenBody Antigen tests provided through Achievement Health Management. You will receive an email this week from CrisisGo. The email will contain a link with the option to register/provide consent early. This is a one-time consent that is good for the remainder of the school year. Completing the registration/consent now will help speed up the testing process if you choose to have your child tested. Parents/guardians are still required to be present while their child is being tested. If you do not receive an email from CrisisGo by Friday, November 19th, please let me know. We plan on implementing this new testing program after Thanksgiving Break if all goes well.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Gatlin RN, BSN

Thank you to outgoing Trustees James Holmes and Vickie Martinez-Murillo for their service to the Board! #LiveLineYouROAR #YouHelpedKids

Telephone issues...A nationwide outage experienced by our telephone provider is currently causing quality issues with phone calls to and from HISD and campuses. We are told they are working to repair it. Email and Remind are still working normally.
