Henderson ISD Second COVAX Clinic
The Department of State Health Services will be at Henderson Middle School Thursday, September 2nd from 4:00pm-6:00pm for the second dose of Pfizer and Moderna.
You may receive your first vaccine at this clinic if you choose. Depending on how many first vaccines are given, DSHS may not be able to return for the second dose. You may need to see a different provider for the second dose.
The COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory for HISD. It is voluntary. If you have any questions, please contact Stephanie Gatlin at 903-655-5037.

Henderson ISD COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic
Henderson ISD will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic sponsored by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) on Thursday, August 5th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at Henderson Middle School (HMS). This clinic is open to HISD staff, HISD staff’s family, and HISD students 12 years and older. All three vaccines will be available (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson). If you choose a two-dose vaccine, DSHS will return September 2nd from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at HMS to administer the second dose.
If you do not get vaccinated on August 5th and change your mind, you will have the opportunity to get vaccinated on September 2nd. If you choose a two-dose vaccine on September 2nd, there is a possibility you will have to get the 2nd dose elsewhere if DSHS is unable to return due to prior engagements.

Those who held reserved seating season tickets for the 2019 HHS Lion football season may purchase their 2021 reserved seating season tickets from 7 AM to 2 PM, July 26, 2021, through July 30, 2021, at the HISD Student Activity Center. Anyone who is not a current ticket holder, but wishes to purchase reserved seating, may do so from 7 AM to 3:30 PM on Thursday, August 5, 2021. These tickets will be available on a first come-first serve basis, and the office will be closed from 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch. Thursday, August 5, will also serve as the day to trade tickets. This will be on a first come-first serve basis, as well.
