Did your child receive free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program during the 20–21 school year? If so, you may be eligible for P-EBT benefits to purchase food.

8th grade athletes and band members: Cross Roads Family Care will provide $15 physicals on June 9th and June 15th from 8:30 am - 11:30
am at HMS. Athletes and band members need a physical in order to participate in UIL sports or events. You may choose to take your child to their primary care physician for their physical and have him/her fill out the Medical History form. The Medical History form can be found on the HISD website under Henderson High School- Athletics- Athletic Forms. Dear Parent/Guardian,
It’s that time of year again! Please remember to pick up your child’s medication(s) from the Nurse’s Office before school gets out for Summer. Medication not picked up will be discarded May 28th.
If your child is a car rider, medication can be sent home in their backpack as long as you send a note stating to do so. If your child rides the bus, you must pick up the medication at your child’s campus. Medication is not allowed on the bus.

¡Ya es ese tiempo del ano otra vez! Por favor acuérdese de recoger los medicamentos de su hijo/a en la enfermería antes de que termine la escuela para el verano. Los medicamentos que no se recojan antes del 28 de Mayo se desecharan.
Si su hijo/a se va en carro, los medicamentos se pueden enviar a casa en su mochila siempre que envié una nota indicándolo. Si su hijo/a se va en autobús, debe recoger el medicamento en el campus de su hijo/a. No se permite medicamentos en el autobús.

Congratulations to the first boys power-lifting team to qualify for state! They were honored by the board of trustees Tuesday.

The Lady Lions soccer team was honored by the Board of Trustees Tuesday evening for their playoff run!

HHS Band and HHS athletes who still need a physical: Tuesday, May 18th, Aurora Concepts will provide $15 physicals at 9:00 am on the HHS campus in Coach Barron’s office. HHS band members and athletes need a Medical History form that can be found on the HISD website under Athletic Forms. Physicals are required to participate in UIL sports. Today Dr. Lamb and Dr. Hickey (UT Tyler's dean of the College of Education and Psychology) formalized a partnership making Master Degrees in curriculum and leadership more convenient and affordable for HISD's teachers and staff. More details will be announced tomorrow!
