One week left! Henderson ISD is still seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on the school board. The board will appoint a member of the community to serve the unexpired term for the District 5 seat. The seat was previously held by Adam Duey who recently stepped down from the board having moved to a new home located outside of District 5.
The board is accepting applications from residents who live in District 5 and have an interest in serving the district’s students and teachers as a Trustee. An application may be picked up during business hours at the Administration Building at 300 Crosby Drive, Henderson, TX 75652. The board had requested that completed forms be returned no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

Congratulations to Vanessa Johnson on her recognition at the recent school board meeting! Ms. Johnson delivers students to and from school every day and also works on the security team at HHS.
